Hester & Pearl Homemade is Fran Spada and Emily Cigliano, a mother-daughter team, who come from a long line of “makers.” Fran is a retired English teacher, who always loved to bake for her friends and family. Emily is a video producer, who has been a creator since she was a little girl, first with her beach jewelry business and now with her handmade bags.
We decided, in 2012, to join together to form a business, and our delicious treats and beautiful bags can be found at numerous local coffee shops and boutiques. (You can also find Emily's shop at twobridgeshandmade.com) We have also been a fixture at many farmer's markets throughout the years and currently have developed quite a following at the Sayville Farmer’s Market, where you can come say hello every Saturday in season.
